How far in advance should I order?
The earlier the better, especially for larger orders, detailed designs and busy celebration periods. Short-notice enquiries are welcome where availability allows.
How do I place an order?
Please send through your event date, preferred size, flavour, theme, colour palette and any inspiration images. From there, Jo can provide guidance and a quote.
Is my order confirmed once I enquire?
No. Your order is only confirmed once the booking requirements have been completed. Dates cannot be held without confirmation.
Do you take last-minute orders?
Sometimes, depending on availability and design requirements. Simple orders may be possible with shorter notice.

What sizes do you offer?
Cake sizes vary depending on the style, height and number of serves required. Jo can help recommend a size based on your event and how the cake will be served.
How much are your cakes?
Pricing depends on size, flavour, design detail and the time involved. Custom orders are quoted individually so each design is priced fairly. Please refer to the Pricing Guide for current minimum order quantities and pricing information.

Each order is handmade and priced based on ingredients, preparation time, design complexity, decorations and finishing details.

Do you make custom designs?
Yes. Orders can be tailored to suit your event style, theme, colours and inspiration.
Can you copy a cake exactly from a photo?
Inspiration photos are used as a guide. As each order is handmade, the final design may have slight variations while still capturing the overall style and feel.
Can I choose my own colours?
Yes. Colour palettes are welcome and can be discussed when planning your order.
Do you offer fondant cakes?
This depends on the design requested. Some designs may be better suited to buttercream, fondant details or a combination of both.

Do you cater for allergies?
Dietary requests can be discussed, however products are prepared in a kitchen that handles common allergens. Please advise of any allergies before ordering.
Pickup, transport and storage
Do you offer delivery?
Delivery is not currently available. Orders are pickup only.
Where do I collect my order?
Pickup is from Narangba, QLD 4504. The full pickup address and collection instructions will be provided once your order has been confirmed.
How should I transport my cake?
Cakes should be transported on a flat surface, ideally in the footwell or boot, with the air conditioning on. Avoid placing cakes on seats or laps.
How should I store my cake?
Keep your cake cool, level and away from direct sunlight or heat. Storage instructions will be provided depending on the cake type.
Can my cake sit outside?
Cakes are best kept indoors in a cool place until serving. Heat, humidity and direct sunlight can affect the finish and structure.
Payments, changes and home business information
Is a deposit required?
A deposit may be required to secure your booking, especially for custom, larger or event orders.
Can I make changes after booking?
Changes may be possible with enough notice, depending on the design, preparation already completed and supplies ordered.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancellation outcomes may depend on how much preparation has already taken place and whether materials have been purchased for your order.
Are your products made in a home kitchen?
Yes. Signature Sweets is a small home-based business, where each order is made with care in a private kitchen.
Why is availability limited?
As each order is handmade, only a limited number of bookings can be accepted to ensure every order receives the time and attention it deserves.
